Liebe Mitglieder, liebe Freunde und Förderer des Israel Museums, meine Damen und Herren,
kaum schöpfte das mutige und engagierte Team des Israel Museums in Jerusalem wieder Hoffnung nach besiegter Pandemie, kaum kehrte das bunte Leben wieder ins Museum, seine Gärten, seine Pavillons, seine Parks, seine vielfältigen interkulturellen Aktivitäten und schon schlägt die Brutalität der politischen Konflikte wieder zu.
Wir sorgen uns und bangen mit aus dem sicheren Zuhause in Deutschland. Unsere herzlichsten Wünsche und Grüße und unsere uneingeschränkte Solidarität haben wir mit der unten stehenden Nachricht an das Museum zum Ausdruck gebracht.

We feel with you so much, especially since there was this hope and prospect of a bright new beginning for all after having so bravely fought the pandemic.
Our thoughts are with you! May reason and tolerence and co-existence prevail. May the museum be able to operate and flourish again as soon as possible. May your intercultural work bear fruit – we must never give up. Our solidarity with you, Jerusalem and Israel is unbroken and stronger then ever.
